Alcohol Calculator, Pricing List, Ordering, Pick Up and Delivery
We kindly ask that you send us your guests' alcohol preferences, and based on your guest count, we will estimate the quantity of bottles needed for your event. We’ll also provide a cost estimate from your preferred store. Once confirmed, we’ll place the order, handle the pickup, and deliver everything on the day of your event.

How does this work?Select your venue or location. Confirm with the venue that outside alcohol services are permitted. Choose your desired package and service duration. Secure your date, sign the contract, and pay the deposit. Decide on your beverage selection. Provide your final guest count and remaining payment 30 days prior to the event. We’ll handle the alcohol order and pick it up on the day of your event. Our team arrives an hour before your event to set up and ensure everything is ready to go.

How do you collect payment?When you secure your date with Southern Pours and sign the contract, we require a non-refundable down payment of 50% of your total service cost. The final headcount and remaining payment are due 45 days before your event.

What is a shot-ski?A personalized shot ski is a fun and unique way to enjoy group toasts, with multiple shot glasses attached! You can even customize the backside with text and dates, making it perfect for photo ops and lasting memories. For sanitary purposes, we use plastic shot glasses, but if you'd like to purchase custom glass shot glasses, we can easily swap them in.

How does alcohol purchasing work?We take the hassle out of it for you! Simply provide us with your guest count and the types of alcohol you'd like at your event, and we’ll handle the rest. Per South Carolina liquor laws, alcohol must be purchased directly by the client, but we make it easy by taking your credit card information over the phone and placing the order with your preferred retailer. Using an alcohol calculation and estimator, we ensure the right quantities are ordered. On the day of your event, we pick it all up and bring it directly to the venue. The best part? There’s no middleman markup—you pay exactly what you would at the store. Any leftover alcohol is yours to keep or return, hassle-free!

How will I know how much alcohol to purchase?We use an alcohol estimator depending on your guest count. You simply provide us with the guest count and types of alcohol you wish to have at your event, and we put together the order and estimated cost.

What if I don't use all the alcohol up at my event?Any leftover alcohol is yours to keep or return, hassle-free!

Can I return the unused alcohol at the end of the event?Absolutely! We keep all bottles and boxes unopened until a guest requests them. Whatever remains unopened at the end of the event is yours to keep or return. You’ll have the receipt, so you can decide what works best for you!

What retailer should we place the alcohol order with?That's totally up to you! A preferred retailer for us is Total Wine.

Is there a surcharge to have you place, pick-up, and deliver my alcohol order?Nope! You pay what you would if you were doing it all on your own. We take the hassle out of the experience for you at no additional charge.

What decorations do I need to bring day-of my event?All you need to bring is any additional decor, like flowers if you’re working with a florist, or your own neon light-up sign if you’re not purchasing one from us as an add-on. We’ve got the rest covered! Our package includes a chalkboard display, green photo wall, café lights, and a floating bar, so you can focus on the finishing touches.

What if I have more than 150 guests at my event?Our packages include 2 bartenders for events with up to 150 guests. For parties over 150 guests, a third bartender and a floating bar are required to ensure smooth service. This will incur an additional flat rate of $700 on top of your selected package.

How much space do I need for your mobile bar?The setup is roughly 30 feet long and 15 feet wide.

Do I need a license for you to serve alcohol at my event?No, you don’t need a license for us to serve alcohol. We are fully licensed and insured, so we handle all the legal requirements for serving alcohol at your event. You can relax and enjoy, knowing everything is taken care of!

What themes do you offer?Southern Pours can accommodate any event theme. While we offer decor for fall, holidays, and Valentine’s Day, we generally leave the decorations up to you, allowing you to customize the look to fit your vision perfectly!
